Best Keylogger For Android, free and no root needed : Get a record of every character typed in your android device

What is a keylogger?

A keylogger is a type of surveillance software that is used to record all keystrokes entered on the keyboard, anonymously, and save those keystrokes in a log file. For example if i send someone a text by typing "sell me a potato" on my keyboard, the sentence "sell me a potato" will also be secretly saved in a text file somewhere in my device. Now this can be an extremely dangerous tool if used for malicious purposes since it can record anything such as private textual conversations, stuff you entered in internet browsers, bank account details, usernames and passwords etc. I warn you, never try such a thing since it's extremely illegal and will probably be treated as a criminal offense and you'll end up in prison. So only try for educational purposes such as making sure no one is using your phone when you aren't around, or for just testing it out.

Keystroke logger for android

While there are many keylogging apps out there, both paid and free, I personally find this one very useful. now this app is not available on playstore, but I assure you it's virus free, also you can check the permissions it requires while installing it. Naturally, any antivirus will detect it as a threat because of the keylogging capabilities, but that's all. Oh and I am not the developer of this app, nor am I in any way being paid to promote this app (I wish i was though lol).

Here's an easy step by step guide to downloading and using the app:

STEP 1:

Download the apk from the link at the bottom of this post.

note: clicking on wrong download buttons is a very common mistake, be sure to to click on the right download button which would appear in the website(after skipping the ad). The download button's label would be "download com.androapps.keystroke.logger".

after downloading the apk, copy the .apk to your phone's sdcard via usb.

STEP 2:

Make sure you have checked allow app installation from "unknown sources" in your settings, which is required for installing raw apks.

STEP 3:

Install the app.

STEP 4:

Go to settings>language and input option and enable keystroke logger keyboard and press for the warning. now change the "default input mode" to keystroke logger keyboard. Or you can do it manually when you want to use it by choosing it from the input options while typing anything.

STEP 5:

Now you're all set to go, to test the app, open any messenger or textfield in your phone, select the keystroke logger keyboard from the input options  by long pressing space and choosing it (if you didn't set it as the default keyboard earlier), now type anything you want and close it.

     

STEP 6:

And that's it, the log file should be saved in sdcard/custom keyboard/data.txt. Open that file and it should contain all the text you entered earlier. if you delete the file, it will be created automatically the next time keystroke logger makes a log.

     

This example may seem minuscule, but you can imagine how powerful this simple tool can be.
